After thinking about it for over a year, I’ve finally birthed a blog.

The first post took me a while. I was trying to find my voice and I edited it every day for a week. I finally decided to let it be and allow myself to move forward.

I decided to use alias for the kids. They said they didn’t mind if I used their names, but there may come a time when they do mind. So to clarify, my daughter’s alias is Fish. Partly because she loves to swim, but mostly because the freckles on her cheek form a fish constellation.

My son’s alias is Red. I got this one from him. He uses it to game, but I like it. It reminds me of a time when he was a baby and his hair was reddish.

So please bear with me while I figure this thing out and flex my creative muscles. I almost wrote “bare with me,” which would be an entirely different blog.
